Today is Valentines Day and I took the opportunity to remind Andrea that I love her (everyday and not just today) with roses (from Costco that was delivered on Thursday) and a Hallmark card. The Costco roses are very nice. We had a nice romantic dinner, feasting on Costco’s amazing $9.99 whole pizza (half combo and half pepperoni).

Today we also used real wood in our fireplace instead of the useless Duraflames that produce lots of flames but no real heat. I can definitely see the appeal of using real wood. The heat is very noticable, the flames are intoxicating, and the mood is just right. The only problem is that using real wood can be quite expensive if you are buying the wood ($5.99 for 6 blocks at Lowe’s).
