We went and checked out the college campus on Saturday. It was not as nice as we thought it would be. The Gazebo we saw next to the ponds seemed a bit barren. The water level seemed extremely low. We could not find any areas with green grass. Most of the grass had patches of dead grass. The waterfall over the rocks was not running. 2 Comments so far. You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.Yea I was quite suprised also! After everyone had been telling us how popular Stan State was for weddings and how the campus has beautiful sites to take pictures at, we couldn’t find anything.
I did speak with Larry (our photographer) about this and he mentioned that we missed a part that is near Ansel Adams Drive. Apparently if you don’t know where to look, its easy to miss, but its supposed to be much nicer there. So the next time we’re in Modesto, Larry is going to show us.
I spoke with Lori Cole, Facilty and Event Coordinator, about a few days ago and she mentioned another very nice spot that could be a potential picture/ceremony site is Warrior Lake.
