Andrea and Richard

Some of you guys might have noticed some small subtle changes to the design around here. Since I recently upgraded our WordPress to the latest version, 2.6, I’m making some changes in our Andrea and Richard theme to reflect the new features of WordPress 2.6, one of them being the inclusion of built in galleries. You’ll notice these gallery boxes that will appear from time to time that look like:

By clicking on the thumbnail or the title, you’ll be taken into the album for that gallery set. Provided that comments are turned on, you can also comment to the entire album as a whole or to individual images. Also feel free to browse through past archives because I’ll be uploading old albums as time permits. You can also directly access all the galleries by visiting: http://andreaandrichard.com/category/gallery.

Also you may have noticed that the navigation menu has been missing for some time now. I’m working on that glitch and it should be back up soon.

Sorry, this announcement is a bit late, but better late than never right? On Saturday, Andrea and I attended Kim and Hai’s engagement party in San Jose. Great turnout with lots of good food. I got a chance to see a lot of good old friends I hadn’t seen in awhile.

I snapped a few shots you guys can check out on our Flickr. I think the official photographer might had some gear envy; he was using a Nikon D300 with what looks like a Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D AF-S, I was packing my big guns ;).

Today marks our four month anniversary! Oh how time flies! We’re working on finishing up the unfinished sections of our person site; especially the wedding related stuff such as how our wedding day went and the vendors we recommend. Keep checking back to get a chance to read the good stuff!

The first theme developed for Andrea and Richard was a custom designed theme by me to keep friends and family up-to-date with our wedding information. Andrea and Richard version 1 was inspired with a specific theme in mind: fall, our wedding, and Andrea’s love of pumpkins.

After the wedding, to spice things up by changing the design so we used Forever Autumn theme designed by Joni Ang since.

I’ve finally been able to develop a new theme that we are both relatively happy with and so now; we present our new theme: Andrea and Richard version 2. There are still some minor additions that I need to make to complete this theme; but essentially it is done. Enjoy.
