Andreaandrichard.com originally started as a way to keep our friends and families updated to our progress on our wedding. We also wanted to make information available that might be useful to other couples getting married and as a virtual time capsule for us to enjoy years later.
Since the wedding last year, we decided to keep the site going and change it from our wedding site, to our own personal site detailing our travels and trips, experiences, our “little girl” (Stripes), and our life journey together.
So who are Andrea, Richard, and Stripes exactly?
Who is Andrea Bui
Andrea Bui, besides being a beautiful wife and mother, spends her professional time working for the State of California since 2000. Prior to that, she was working at Lucky (which became Albertsons and now most recently, Lucky again) for about 6 years.
Andrea enjoys good champagne (Roederer Estate being one of her favorites) and good white wine. She enjoys outdoor activities such as trailing hiking and is an avid health nut (good thing) who enjoys working out and staying in shape.
Andrea enjoys heavy metal, rock, classic R&B, and alternative genre music.
Who is Richard Bui
Richard Bui, easy going husband and father of a beautiful little kitty cat, spends his professional time working for the City and County of San Francisco as a web developer and Mac specialist. Prior to that, he spent the last 7 years working for the State of California at CSU San Jose State University as an Information Technology Consultant.
Richard enjoys a good martini with Grey Goose vodka and does enjoy a good champagne and wine with his wife from time to time. He is an avid reader of all sorts of genres of books. Richard also enjoys photography and his services can be contracted out at BuiPhotography.com.
Richard doesn’t have specific genres of music he likes, he listens to whatever catches his fancy, whether that be Gregorian Chants, Celine Dion, Air Supply, 2Pac, or classical. He also likes good movies, like Batman Begins, and immensely enjoys Japanese Animations.

Who is Stripes Bui
Stripes Bui is a cute little grey tabby cat who has many joys and hobbies. She enjoys the nice outdoors and tall green grass to hide in. She also likes tall trees that birds perch on so she can climb and play with them. She is an excellent hunter who catches an assortment of wildlife such as birds, squirrels, and the occasional newt.
Stripes also enjoys fine dining, enjoying such favorites as sake (salmon), maguro (tuna), and even octopus sashimi. Stripes is very social, and enjoys meeting new people, especially if they are allergic to cat hair.
