Escrow closed a few hours ago and we pick up the keys tonight and start the celebrations. It’s been a long wait in saving for a home, finding the perfect home, etc. Richard and I have been looking to buy a house for almost a year, and became very serious shoppers in the last six months. We must have looked at over 50 houses. Just ask our Realtor….LOL.

We’ll be picking up the keys in less than an hour now, and already bought some things to put in the house. We’ll be doing some cosmetic work, painting, before we move in on Saturday.

I must say, the moment I got the call from our Realtor, it was a feeling I can’t explain. It was like wow…this is really happening, we did it, we bought a house and will be living the American Dream.
