So my friend was kind enough to take me shooting a second time, this time I graduated from a handgun to an assault rifle, sweet. We went to Jackson Arms Shooting Range here in South San Francisco and had a good ole fun time at lunch shooting a paper target. Having never shot a rifle before, let alone hold one, I must say it is definitely a whole different kind of fun compared to using a hand gun. The heft, the sound, everything about it is an emphasis of power, not to mention precision.

The AR that I used was a custom assembled Stag AR 1h post ban configured to comply with California law (more info concerning CA law can be found at calguns.net) with 5.56 NATO rounds; all Greek to me at the moment, but all that matters is that it was freaking kick ass cool.

I can hardly believe it’s been 6 months already since we’ve been married. The time has passed quickly. Marriage life is great, while times haven’t been easy as of late, we’re managing just fine. All things will pass. Thank you to my wonderful hubby for your continued support while I go through some difficult times of my own.
