And We’re Off…

to see the Wizard… As you can see I’m in the spirit of things, Christmas, one of my favorite time of year. This year, we’re all heading down to my parent’s house in Modesto to celebrate. By we, I mean my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, etc. It’s going to be awesome! Lots of food, lots of presents, lots of cheer! Although we aren’t looking forward to the drive to Modesto and back, we are excited to see everyone including Bella (my parent’s Yorkshire).

I’m packing my camera, so I’ll be sure to get a lot of pictures. Have a safe holiday and Merry Christmas everyone!

And if anyone is wondering what we got each other for Christmas, Andrea got me a nice 22″ widescreen Acer LCD to replace my 19″. It’s pretty sweet! My parents, sister, and I all chipped in and got her a brand new spanking 8GB Apple iPhone so she can bling it. :)

Damnit. We haven’t even started.

Happy Birthday Richard!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful hubby!

This year has been……well….just crazy. I know we’ve had a lot of stress with all the wedding plans, but I think this has been our best year so far. We were married this year and get to celebrate our first birthdays together as husband and wife. I’m honored to share in the celebration of the birth of such a special person. This is your day in which I get to celebrate the most important thing of all…..your birth.

I love you!

Happy Anniversary (Kind of…)

So it seems that we haven’t been very consistent with updates to our personal site since the wedding; things have been a little wild. I’m about done with the professional wedding pictures (finally!) and will be uploading them soon. By now, I’m sure most people don’t even care to see them anymore… So be on the lookout for that.

Also I’m working on a redesign of this site; a design that is more personalized to us rather than the free WordPress themes. There’s just been so many different things going on at work, I haven’t had as much time as I would like to devote to it.

We’re also planning on starting the process of purchasing a house, especially since the house prices have been falling. I’m working on paying off all my debt and saving up money so we can *hopefully* make the 20% down payment to avoid the PMI charges. The idea is to hopefully reduce our expenses enough to live off of Andrea’s take home paycheck and devote my entire paycheck towards the monthly mortgage.

I also gave Andrea her Christmas present early because she had given me mine. My parents, Linda, and I all chipped in together and bought a brand new spanking 8GB iPhone to replace her black Motorola V3 Razr. Needless to say, she loved the Christmas present.

I’ll let Andrea chime in if she has anything else to add.
