Excellent. Since we’ve been married and Andrea has moved in, it has felt natural. And why shouldn’t it? I don’t know about Andrea, but I was a bit anxious. I’ve never truly lived with someone before. I mean I’ve shared a house with friends and lived with my sister for a year, but never actually had a roommate. I mean Andrea and I have gone on trips before, but its different when you truly live together. After 21 days, I can say, nothing feels different; just natural, the good natural. Perhaps it’s our new NovaForm bed from Costco or perhaps it’s just meant to be; either way, it’s natural as if we have always lived together. The biggest point of contention between us is our sleeping times. Andrea has always been to bed by 8 p.m. (8:30 at the latest) and up by 4:30 a.m. I have always been to bed around the 11 p.m. (*cough, cough* 12ish) time period and up around after 5:00 a.m.. So we’re working on coming to some sort of compromise, but in the grand scheme of things, a pretty small issue.
We’re still working on moving Andrea’s stuff in; I have too much shit. It comes from living on my own for so long and I tend to like to keep things “just-in-case”. So I’ve been working on getting rid of stuff and getting Andrea’s stuff in. I have a ton of shit to sell also, but just so little time.
Also, we’re sorry on how long it’s taking us to get out the thank you cards. Everyday has been filled with something to do. I can’t even believe it’s been almost a month since we got married, but yet it just feels like we’ve barely got back from our honeymoon!
The pictures from the honeymoon are taking a bit to process (I shot over 1500 pics, and have now narrowed it down to ~700 which I need to trim more from). I’m also working on the (long-winded) page about our honeymoon, so be on the lookout for that. We’re still waiting on the professional pics, but we’ve pics from family and friends in the meantime.
I also surprised Andrea with a nice little gift yesterday, I’ll try to get a picture of it when I can. It’s from Kauai.
