We’re almost a month within our wedding. This is unbelievable. Richard and I (mostly me) are going crazy with all the things left to do. So what’s left?

Itinerary’s for DJ, Photographer, Restaurant, MC, etc.
Still looking for few more accesories for my dress
Trying to coordinate the whole transportation issue
Seating chart
…….and calling all the people who have not yet RSVP’d.

We’re counting down by weeks now…that’s how close we really are now.

Only 7 weeks left until the wedding. We have all our vendors booked now, including the baker for our wedding cake. We also both have the wedding bands.

We need to still work on the following:

Get wedding bands engraved
Book hotel room for night before wedding
Finalize vows
Work on a list of “must-play” (and “must-not play”) songs for our DJ
Work on Reception Program

This is what we’re currently working on. As the day gets closer, we will be very busy again with calling all the vendors, etc. It’s now all the final “little” details that we’re stressed about.

We cancelled our honeymoon in Tahiti because…well, it was just too expensive. We would have paid $3k JUST for the flight alone. Flying to Hawaii is less than $900 for both of us. I’ve always wanted to go to the “nicer” islands in Hawaii; i’ve only been to O’ahu, which I did NOT like.

So the revised honeymoon is 7 nights on the South Side of Kaua’i. We’ll be staying practically on the Poipu beach. We got a 1-bedroom condo with full kitchen, etc. in a Royal Garden View room. Based on the resort map I looked at, our room is practically steps from the beach, and only a few units away from the 1-bedroom Ocean view room which was $1k higher.

I think we could not go wrong with Hawaii for a honeymoon, especially Kaua’i.

Next year, I would love to go to Maui.

2 months. 8 weeks. 61 days. 1,488 hours. 89,280 seconds. That is how much time is left before we are joined as husband and wife. It seems so long, but it’s also so quick. We still have a few things to take care of, the stress continues to rise, but these are the moments that test our true dedication to each other.

I’m going through a kaleidoscope of emotions from happiness, craziness, joy, etc. Andrea is also going through the same things as I, but we’re staying focused on the goal: a life together.

• I still need to finish up renting the tuxedo shoes
• We still need to take care of the wedding cake
• Write our vows
• Do a dry run with Reverend Thomas
