Ordered Andrea’s Wedding Ring
So we went to San Jose for Father’s Day, spent a bit of time with my family. Then we left to order the rings. We went to the same place where I originally custom ordered Andrea’s engagement ring. We ran into a predicament in that because of the unique design of Andrea’s engagement ring, it would be very difficult to find a pre-made wedding band that would fit exactly into the engagement ring. And the issue we face is that if we custom make a wedding band that fits perfectly with the engagement ring, then Andrea can’t wear the wedding band alone as she would like to do on occasion.
So we looked, and looked, and happened on a nice one. It’s a nice 5 stone ring that we’re having custom made in platinum to match the engagement ring. The total weight is about ~0.81 carats, bringing the grand total (engagement + wedding rings) to over ~2 carrots carats. The ring will be ready in two weeks for pickup. We can’t wait to see it!
