We have 6 months left until the wedding. Time is going by quickly. We have a majority of things completed. We’re going to the Invitation printing shop tomorrow. We are done with the invitation design; Richard has done a great job on the design. Invitations will be mailed on July 6 (three months before the wedding).

We are still in the works of trying to find and book a DJ. I have some references that people have given me, but I still need to find more so I have more options to choose from.

We also took the opportunity while we were in Modesto this past Saturday to stop by CSU Stanislaus campus to take a peek and see if it looks better, and it did.

The main fountain was on this time and looks so much better! The grass was all nicely green and the trees full of leaves. We also finally found Warrior Lake near Ansel Adams Drive, a place we completely missed the last time. It’s very nice! The wedding pictures will turn out great and it’ll be absolutely perfect when we do our vows there.

At my sister’s recommendation, we checked out Bang Bang, another hair salon in Modesto, CA. The first you notice about Bang Bang is how young all the employees are, about college age. They have a funky, “cool” look to their store. Their customer service was so much better than Total Image Crap.

They answered all our questions, took their time with us, we left them with much more confidence than when we left Total Image. So once Andrea gets her tiara, we’re gonna set an appointment with Bang Bang and give them a try.

So we went to Total Image in Modesto, CA this last Saturday, we highly recommend that you not use them for a wedding. When you first walk in, they seem to have a nice decor and even a fancy Louis Vuitton leather stylist chair, but don’t let that distract you from their professionalism, or lack thereof.

The lady who does the hair for weddings, we assume the owner, was rushing us the whole time. She spent more time talking about what we should do rather than listen to what we wanted to do. We definitely didn’t get the good vibes at all. Total Image also does makeup for weddings too, turns out its her mother who does the makeup…

When we asked what the cost of doing a trial run would be, she told us it would be the same price as if would be on the wedding day. You would think they would offer you some kind of discount considering. Stay away.
